Emerald Metals in conjunction with their overseas supply partners specializes in bidding, securing and managing supply for a variety of  large scale project types. 

 
For several years, Emerald Metals has supplied key precision tubulars for offshore riser systems used in the Gulf of Mexico , Offshore Africa and other global energy locations.  Working with our key suppliers, we have provided specialized low alloy tubes for Choke & Kill and mud applications as well as Stainless and Duplex seamless tubing for Hydraulic Control lines. 

Emerald Metals was the key supplier along with ThyssenKrupp Mannex for the full compliment of specialty plates for the topsides construction for BHP’s Shenzi offshore platform deployed in the Gulf of Mexico in 2006. 

In a large transaction completed in 2008, Emerald Metals supplied 14,000 metric tons of specialized plates to PDVSA for construction of the first in a series of oil services terminal piers in Venezuela designed for the export of heavy crude to the Peoples Republic of China on a long term contract. 

In signing a key contract in late 2008 for 1000 tons of P-110 grade seamless casing tubulars for use in the Oklahoma oil filed, Emerald Metals added a key end user account to it’s OCTG customer family. 

Emerald Metals Limited of Canada completed a key contract for large volumes of seamless alloy OCTG materials for Hunting International of Calgary as part of our expanding oilfield supply activities in the region.
